I discovered a pretty cool organization. They take applications from teachers and they assess the severity of their need. Then they take items that are donated, as well as monetary gifts, and distribute them to the most needy schools. I like it and they will get the money this year.
A Note From One
of Our Teachers:
"It's amazing! I put in a request for markers and two weeks later
markers were sent to my school. It's like having a school fairy.
My kids are excited and I am very, very grateful. Thanks for your
help."

Don's beer fridge now has faucets, and some fellas completed a whirlwind beer trip.
Three English style draft beers will be available at the Fundraiser:
Noon Somewhere Oatmeal Mild - Don adds his own tweak by adding some flaked oats to this traditional low-alcohol English style. It is a low bitterness beer with a touch of malt sweetness rounded out by a hint of roastiness.
Mind Your P's and Q's Porter - Mike contributes a dark and warm English Porter, modeled after a famous English brewery. This should be nice drinking on a cool Fall night.
Big Gilbert Brown Ale - Jerry brews a different take on a traditional English style. He describes his beer as a "Big American style Brown Ale ringing in at 6.6%ABV…too much of this and you just might have an encounter with the GRAVE DIGGER!"
