The water gets deeper SUPER gradually. You can literally walk out maybe 150 yards and only be up to your waist.

The night of many drinks took a delightful surprise turn when we found a place that had Hofbrau Haus Helles on tap, from Munich. I had a wonderful flashback to my time in Munich with this liter mug. If you come over to my house, I can show you some videos of events as the night rolled on...
Apparently someone is happy to be on vacation.
Across the lake from where we stayed is the well known Tihany peninsula. We took a ferry across the lake and did some hiking. HERE is a panorama picture of the above view.
We had some torte and coffee at a cafe with a great balcony and view of the area.
