Vienna, Austria

My attempt to take a picture of the massive tower at St. Stephan's Cathedral.  The thing wouldn't fit in my picture frame no matter how far back I kept walking.  :)

It probably goes without saying, but most produce in Europe seems to be purchased from markets like this.  It's just a little different than Cub Foods, and I thought this colorful display would make a nice picture.

Karlskirche.  Our guidebook said we could go inside for free, but since it was written, a fee is now required.  Since we were seeing church after church without having to pay, we stayed on the outside of this one.

This is one entry to the massive Hofburg Palace complex.  Many horse-drawn carriages used this as a starting point to take tourists around town.

Schonbrunn.

The beautiful, massive, and free gardens of Schonbrunn.  The structure off in the distance marked about half way to the end of the garden.  Much of it behind that structure was a woods with paths.  There also is a zoo, as well as groomed, maze-like hedges.

A picture from the old Jewish section of the Zentralfriedhof (central cemetery).  Some of the stones have broken, tipped, and many of them are overgrown because many of the families of the dead have left Austria.
