Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic

Cesky Krumlov is a town we'd read about and thought we would add it to our list.  It's a quaint smaller town that has maintained a sort of medieval feel.  The main part of the old city center is surrounded by a river that forms kind of a horseshoe as it winds through town.

This was one of my favorite Czech meals.  I had chicken, pork, and beef chunks marinated in some kind of sauce, with red, green, and yellow peppers, wrapped in a potato pancake.  Man was it good!  And the local Eggenberg beer was fantastic too.  Jamie had a pizza that night.

The palace gardens were quite elaborate.  There was this section of which you see part, that was manicured and maintained.  Then there was another section that was more like a small forest, with a pond you could walk around.

This is a view from the palace tower.  You can see the river and the old center part of the town.  You can also see the more modern apartments off in the distance.

Just a shot of a typical side street, with the warped and uneven cobblestone road
