Fundraiser #4 Pics Sept 23, 2006
Thanks again to all who came, donated, and sampled tons of beer and mead.
After expenses we have $125 to buy books.
This year the stakes were raised. A few other people brought great homemade beverages for sampling. In the cooler was a warm, mulled mead. In the growler was a very nice English Mild. We also had Double IPA, spontaneously fermented cider, Cherry Wit, Hefeweizen, Wit, Jalapeno Mead and Raspberry mead. I hope this becomes a new annual tradition.
Here's a little video of the garage. 1 MB
15 Buck; Bookish Bitter; Orange Blossom Mead. We worked pretty hard on all of them, but none of them ran out before the night ended.
Don holds some of the mulled mead made my James (at right). You can see the steam coming out of the glass.
Thomas made the Orange Blossom Mead. Thanks for donating that tasty stuff.
Grace and Kieran had fun chasing each other around the garage.
Mike (at right) made the Fifteen Buck. Thanks for donating that yummy beer!
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
