Blois, France

What?  It's not raining?  Cool.  So we rented bikes and rode about 12 miles through the beautiful French countryside to Chateau Chambord.  We road through a number of sunflower fields, vineyards, and fields of grain.

Sunflowers to the left, grain to the right, clouds overhead...

Don in Chateau Chambord, with a view of the center courtyard.

Of course, the rain started when we left the castle.  We had a 12 mile, windy, cool, and wet ride home.  On the way we stopped at this bakery for a lunch.  We were out of the rain for a moment.

I regretted not taking this picture on the way to the castle, so I stopped on the way home and got it.  It was just an old stone wall with a doorway, through which you can spy a vineyard.
